Every year Rajasthan Day is celebrated on 30th March to remember the day on which the state Rajasthan came into existence. Rajasthan earlier known as Rajputana came into existence on 30th March 1949. This year it will be 73 years since formation of the state in 2022. The state is situated in North-western side of the India and largest state in the country by area containing more than 6 crore population. It is mainly arid and its western border is adjacent to Pakistan. Its capital and largest city is Jaipur. Other important cities are Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, Jaisalmer, Udaipur etc. Very rich in culture, Rajasthan is famous for its heritage, historical monuments, warriors and delicious food.
